She became Jack Woltz's wife during her later years, largely due to an effort to quell rumours about Woltz's paedophilia. She promptly squandered his fortune on extreme redecoration and additions to his mansion and lavish parties with hipsters and surfers. He survived only by quietly selling of assets and land from the back of his movie lot.
She once had a brief affair with Johnny Fontane, which she teased him about during his visit to the Woltz mansion in 1963 with Francesca Corleone.
