The Bronx is the northernmost of the five boroughs of New York City. Located northeast of Manhattan, the Bronx is the only borough not primarily located on an island. It was partly the territory of Peter Clemenza and later Frank Pentangeli, but Carmine Cuneo also resided in The Bronx.

In 1922, Vito Corleone and his family moved to an apartment house in the Bronx, where they lived until they moved to their compound in Long Beach in 1939.

Al Neri lived in The Bronx for many years as well as his nephew Thomas, and Luca Brasi had a warehouse in the Bronx in the 1930s.

The Bronx is also home to Louis Restaurant, where Michael Corleone shot Virgil Sollozzo and Mark McCluskey.
