Steve Shagan was an American novelist, screenplay writer, television and film producer. He entered Hollywood in 1958 before producing the Tarzan television show. His next major success came with the production and writing of Save the Tiger, for which he was nominated for Best Screenplay.
He produced The Sicilian and has written several succesful novels. He passed away on November 30, 2015 at the age of 88 years in Los Angeles, California.
