An import business originally owned by the Stracci family, Sicilian Imports was owned by Dario Stracci, who ceased his connection with the Straccis when his request to start a racket was denied. Instead, Stracci began to associate himself with the police, allowing Police sergeant Joe Galtosino to carry out shady practices in his backroom. It was here that Galtosino met his end, falling from the roof in what seemed like a drunken accident. Afterwards, the Corleone family took over the import business.
