Robert Selden Duvall (born January 5, 1931) is an American actor. He portrayed Tom Hagen.
Biography
Born in San Diego, California, Robert Duvall's first film appearance was To Kill a Mockingbird in 1962. He achieved two Academy Award nominations, both of which while for working with Francis Ford Coppola, director of The Godfather.
Duvall appeared as Tom Hagen in The Godfather, where he helped Coppola get Al Pacino to star as Michael Corleone. He also, along with James Caan and Marlon Brando, began a wave of on set 'moonings'.
Duvall reprised the role in The Godfather Part II but did not appear in The Godfather Part III due to a salary disagreement.
He did, however, reprise the role of Hagen for the videos games The Godfather: The Game in 2006 and The Godfather II in 2008. He is still a respected figure in the acting world to this day.

Duvall's voice is very similar to how he sounded in the film. Of course, his pronunciation of the word Corleone is different than in the film. But he still delivers the rationalism and strategic mind of Tom Hagen rather well.
The Godfather II
Duvall once again reprises his role. Unlike the first game, his pronunciation of Corleone in this game, however, is the same as in the film (corleoni). Duvall's delivery is as good as before, but the quality of some of the recordings in this game is somewhat inconsistent. This could be possibly due to the fact that a lot of the voice actors recorded in different locations. Some of Duvall's lines sound a lot louder than others, but his cutscene lines don't seem to have this problem.
