New York City is the most populous city in the United States and located in the state of New York. It is world renouned for it's many beautiful and famous landmarks such as the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge.
It is made up of five boroughs; Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island. All of which have Italian and mafia influences.
In the early 1900s, Vito Corleone settled in New York and began his businesses as a mafioso, beginning in the neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen before moving to Little Italy and Long Beach. Vito helped form the Five Families during the Pacification of New York. Under the tenure of his son Michael, the family moved to Nevada in the 1950s, but Peter Clemenza, a former caporegime, was allowed to remain as boss of his own family.
