"Okay kid, you're the boss, gimme my dough."
Mickey Mancini[src]

Mickey "The Mouth" Mancini was a racket boss and associate of the Tattaglia family.

Biography[]

Owner of the Tattaglia Hub in Brooklyn, Mickey Mancini managed the family's counterfeiting and liquor businesses with a steady hand, operating with more skill than is usually expected from the Tattaglias. He gained the moniker "the mouth" because he seemed to never stop talking. Because of this, and because he was seen to work better in a business capacity, he was never allowed to "make his bones" and become a soldato.

In 1947, Mancini's businesses began to decline, as many key family members and associates had been removed by death or strong arming. Mancini himself was eventually bought out by the Corleones.

After the buyout, Mancini used his chatty personality and attitude to work up the Corleone Hierachy, eventually "making his bones" several months later. Mancini also gained a larger income and moved into a larger apartment opposite the Hub, expanding and collaborating with the Cuneo Weapon Smuggling and Stracci Explosive Smuggling Rings.
