Michael Francis Rizzi, not to be confused with his uncle, Michael Corleone, was the younger son of Connie Corleone and Carlo Rizzi.
Biography
During his baptism Michael Corleone orders the deaths of Moe Greene, Emilio Barzini, Philip Tattaglia, Victor Stracci and Carmine Cuneo. After the baptism his father Carlo gets garotted to death by Peter Clemenza on Michael Corleone's orders. Michael moved with his mother and brother Victor to Nevada.
He never went into the family business.
Behind the scenes
- Although he was a boy, he was played by Sofia Coppola.
- In Dean Reisner's draft of The Godfather Part III, Michael, now known as Frankie Rizzi, played a large part, including getting ambushed by several Puerto Rican assassins along with Al Neri.
