Eugene Luther Gore Vidal (October 3, 1925 – July 31, 2012) was an American writer, best known for his essays.
He worked on The Sicilian screenplay, but was not credited.
Biography[]
Born Eugene Louis Vidal in New York. His first contribution to the literary world was Williwaw in 1946, following this he became a proficient author of plays, novels and screenplays including Myra Breckinridge, one of his most popular works, and The Sicilian, which he worked on the screenplay for, uncredited.
He died in 2012, at age 86.
