Franklin "Feely" Alioto was a high ranking member of the Alioto crime family and the owner of the Hotel Alioto in Little Italy.
Biography[]
Franklin Alioto was the younger brother of Emilio Alioto and was, along his brother, a high ranking member of the family sent to New York by Luciano Alioto, their father for a move into the East-Coast under the protection of the Stracci family from New Jersey.
Franklin managed to build a hotel in Little Italy with the Stracci family's money, and this business was used as their main headquarters as well as source of revenue. However, Vito Corleone was aware of Alioto's plan for expansion and had Luca Brasi assassinate Don Alioto as a warning. Peace was soon declared, and Franklin became the new family underboss, while his brother became Don.

Franklin was later intimidated into paying protection money by Aldo Trapani and arranged Trapani's initiation ceremony as Don of New York ten years later.
