Fausto Cuneo, Jr. was the godson of Carmine Cuneo, son of Fausto Cuneo and brother of Enzo. He was the owner of The Elegante in Hell's Kitchen and a puppet to Joe the Elegance.
Biography[]
An easy-going, pleasant character, Fausto had no desire to go into the 'muscle' or any illegal end of the family business and instead chose to manage a hotel that would serve as a base for family members in times of crisis. In his place, Joe the Elegance was made racket boss in his establishment and he controlled the entire shebang firmly, even putting tabs on Fausto in case he stepped out of line.
In the early fifties when the Corleone crime family moved in on Hell's Kitchen, Cuneo was forced to relinquish the tributes on his business, much to his dismay.
He was presented at Carmine Cuneo's funeral along with his father and brother.
When the Corleone family became legitimate, the DeVazzi family took over his hotel and casino on upper floors instead.
