Enrico 'Ghostly' Grosser was a racket boss in the Cuneo family.

Biography

A mysterious associate of the Cuneo family, Enrico 'Ghostly' Grosser, was given his nickname by police officers who found him particularly difficult to trace. A friend of Angela Laurent, owner of Lumpy's Bar, Grosser was a friend of her family and used his connections in the family to provide her protection in exchange for lease of the Bar's upper room as a weapons racket.

In 1950, the Corleone family had dominated Hell's Kitchen and were looking to move east into Midtown. Lumpy's was one of the businesses that stood in their way, and so Grosser was bought out.
