Daryl Hannah is an American actress who made her debut in The Fury, before playing major parts in some of the most successful films of the Eighties, including Roxanne and Blade Runner, in whch she performed most of her own stunts. She portrayed Athena Aquitane in The Last Don, but did not reprise the role for the sequel.
In the 2000s, she received a career comeback, particularly due to her role as the cycloptic assassin Elle in Kill Bill. In addition to her film roles, Hannah has also made numerous stage appearences, notably on the West End in a production of The Seven Year Itch. She is also a keen environmentalist.
