Corrado Gaipa (March 13, 1925 – September 21, 1989) was a veteran Italian actor who appeared in numerous character parts. He was also known for his voice acting, dubbing Alec Guinness' voice for the Italian cut of the Star Wars Trilogy and as Bagheera in the 1967 animated film The Jungle Book. He had dubbed Burt Lancaster in Italian in the movie The Leopard (1963).
Gaipa appeared as Don Tommasino in The Godfather and would have reprised the role in The Godfather Part III, but died in 1989 before the movie began filming.
Gaipa used a cane (later a wheelchair) in real life, which was the impetus for having Don Tommasino use a wheelchair.
