"That's a generous offer, I accept."
―Connie Smith[src]

Connie 'The Cauldron' Smith was a racket boss and associate of the Barzini family.

Biography[]

An long time associate of the Barzinis and a good friend of Willy Aguilare, whose nightclub, West Side Willy's, was selected to be the front for Smith's section of the family diamond racket. On the surface a pleasant, easy-going man, Smith was known to hide a stone heart beneath this facade, and often used the ovens of Willy's to dispose of his rivals corpses.

In 1954, when the Five Families War had ended, the Corleone family had begun making moves into Midtown. During a strike from Hell's Kitchen in the west, Smith's racket was taken and he was forced to change allegiances.
