Christi Deere was an actress and wife of producer Skippy Deere.
She married Skippy when they were both young, and they had two children. With his influence she eventually won the Academy Award for Best Actress. However, after this, she began to take him for granted and eventually divorced him, ensuring that he paid her an enormous amount of alimony for their children.
In 1990, Christi died in a car accident, and her children were left with her estate. Her ex-husband did not mourn for her too heavily.
