Carmine Fucillo was a soldato in Clemenza's regime, and afterly a top lieutenant for him. In 1958, Fucillo and Tony DeRosa were kidnapped by the Rosato Brothers as part of their struggle against Frank Pentangeli.


During a meeting with Pentangeli, Carmine Rosato promised to let the hostages free if Pentangeli would give them concessions. Infuriated by their terms, Pentangeli left the meeting. It is unknown whether or not Fucillo survived the kidnapping.


After the Clemenza's promotion to street boss in 1955, Carmine Fucillo was probably became a caporegime in the New York faction, as Tony DeRosa.
