Connecting Brooklyn with the main section of New York City near Little Italy, the Brooklyn Bridge was completed in 1883 and became the longest suspension bridge in the world.
The bridge is close to the Brooklyn neighborhood where Vincent Mancini lived in the 1970s.
In the video game[]
In the video game, when Vito Corleone is shot, his attackers attempt to ambush his ambulance by forcing it onto the bridge. The Tattaglia Capo in charge of the attack engages in a firefight with Aldo Trapani which he loses, and is forced to reveal the location of consigliere Tom Hagen before expiring.
