The Barzini Hub was the epicentre of the Barzini family's exotic car and diamond rackets during the 1940s, located in north-east Midtown. Run by Eduardo Barzini, the Hub was known to be one of the most heavily guarded buildings in the whole of New York City.
The Hub was partnered with the Barzini Maritime Hub in Hell's Kitchen, which it traded numerous imports with from the dockyards until the Maritime Hub was conquered.
However, in 1956, the Hub was taken over by the Corleone family, an act which nearly crippled their rivals. Emilio Barzini was killed in 1956, and the family became allies with the Corleones, now under the command of Michael Corleone.
History[]
As a recently wounded Corleone associate told you: "Stay away from this place. Seriously. You'll die. Heaven forbid you'll even meet 'Deadly' Eduardo Barzini in person. Ed's other nickname (he's so tough he has two) is simply 'The End'. Capish?" This warehouse is the Barzini's pride and joy, one of the true hubs of their Family empire.
